Across TCGA patient cohorts, NPM1P42 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 57 significant associations in total. SKCM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NPM1P42-associated genes across cancer lineages are SPEM1, MT-TD, and SNORD66. Each is linked with NPM1P42 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NPM1P42-to-partner and partner-to-NPM1P42 results are reported.
