Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPM1P40 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NPM1P40 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher NPM1P40 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPM1P40 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and READ show a favorable association.

THCA, KICH, and ESCA are the cancer types where NPM1P40 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
