Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPL data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher NPL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where NPL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
