Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPHP4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPHP4 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher NPHP4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPHP4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, HNSC, and KICH are the cancer types where NPHP4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
