Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NPC2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NPC2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher NPC2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NPC2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BLCA and LUAD are the cancer types where NPC2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
