Across TCGA patient cohorts, NOVA1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,126 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NOVA1-associated genes across cancer lineages are GDAP1, NXPH3, and MAGI2. Each is linked with NOVA1 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NOVA1-to-partner and partner-to-NOVA1 results are reported.
