Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NOTCH2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NOTCH2 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher NOTCH2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NOTCH2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and UCS show a favorable association.
ACC, BLCA, and ESCA are the cancer types where NOTCH2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
