Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NOL4L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NOL4L data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher NOL4L mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NOL4L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

PDAC, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where NOL4L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
