Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NMNAT3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NMNAT3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher NMNAT3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NMNAT3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, KIRC, and SARC are the cancer types where NMNAT3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
