Across TCGA patient cohorts, NME3 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,058 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NME3-associated genes across cancer lineages are VRK1, CDKN3, and CENPI. Each is linked with NME3 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NME3-to-partner and partner-to-NME3 results are reported.
