Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NME1-NME2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NME1-NME2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher NME1-NME2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NME1-NME2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and GBM show a favorable association.

BLCA, KIRC, and MESO are the cancer types where NME1-NME2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
