Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NKX6-3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NKX6-3 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher NKX6-3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NKX6-3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
DLBC are the cancer types where NKX6-3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
