Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NKX2-3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NKX2-3 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher NKX2-3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NKX2-3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUSC are the cancer types where NKX2-3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
