Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NKX1-2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NKX1-2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher NKX1-2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NKX1-2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and LGG show a favorable association.

COAD, CESC, and UCEC are the cancer types where NKX1-2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
