Across TCGA patient cohorts, NIN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,288 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NIN-associated genes across cancer lineages are PSMA3, SRP19, and MTHFD1. Each is linked with NIN in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NIN-to-partner and partner-to-NIN results are reported.
