Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NGFR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NGFR data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher NGFR Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NGFR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, LUAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where NGFR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
