Across TCGA patient cohorts, NGFR mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 18 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NGFR-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATM, Caspase-8, and eIF4G. Each is linked with NGFR in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NGFR-to-partner and partner-to-NGFR results are reported.
