Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NFKBID RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NFKBID data layer compared with 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher NFKBID RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NFKBID expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BLCA show a favorable association.
HNSC, OV, and BLCA are the cancer types where NFKBID RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
