Across TCGA patient cohorts, NFIB protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,807 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NFIB-associated genes across cancer lineages are ADGRB3, FXYD6, and GPM6A. Each is linked with NFIB in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NFIB-to-partner and partner-to-NFIB results are reported.
