Across TCGA patient cohorts, NFIB mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,417 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NFIB-associated genes across cancer lineages are PSME2P5, MTND4P33, and TRBVB. Each is linked with NFIB in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NFIB-to-partner and partner-to-NFIB results are reported.
