Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NFATC2IP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NFATC2IP data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher NFATC2IP mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NFATC2IP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LSCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where NFATC2IP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
