Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NF1P6 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of NF1P6’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where NF1P6 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types NF1P6 is over-expressed in tumor.
PRAD are the cancer types where NF1P6 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
