Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NEXMIF RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NEXMIF data layer compared with 13 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher NEXMIF RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NEXMIF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and OV show a favorable association.
CESC, OV, and BLCA are the cancer types where NEXMIF RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
