Across TCGA patient cohorts, NEK8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 15,426 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NEK8-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SMC3, HNRNPLL, and SUPT6H. Each is linked with NEK8 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NEK8-to-partner and partner-to-NEK8 results are reported.
