Across TCGA patient cohorts, NEK2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,122 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NEK2-associated genes across cancer lineages are SEC14L2, PVALB, and FKBP3. Each is linked with NEK2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NEK2-to-partner and partner-to-NEK2 results are reported.
