Across TCGA patient cohorts, NEFM protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 6,021 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NEFM-associated genes across cancer lineages are RELN, GFRA1, and PRR18. Each is linked with NEFM in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NEFM-to-partner and partner-to-NEFM results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, NEFM versus RELN in LUAD, with a Pearson correlation of 0.71.
