Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NEBL-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NEBL-AS1 data layer compared with 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher NEBL-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NEBL-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and KIRP show a favorable association.

KIRC, UCEC, and KIRP are the cancer types where NEBL-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
