Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDUFS7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NDUFS7 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher NDUFS7 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDUFS7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and CESC show a favorable association.
KIRP, CESC, and UCS are the cancer types where NDUFS7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
