Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NDST2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NDST2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher NDST2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NDST2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC and PDAC are the cancer types where NDST2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
