Across TCGA patient cohorts, NCL mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 22 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NCL-associated genes across cancer lineages are PCNA, ASNS, and EGFR_pY1068. Each is linked with NCL in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NCL-to-partner and partner-to-NCL results are reported.
