Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NCALD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NCALD data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher NCALD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NCALD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LUAD, COAD, and MESO are the cancer types where NCALD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
