Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NBPF20 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NBPF20 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher NBPF20 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NBPF20 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA show a favorable association.

ESCA are the cancer types where NBPF20 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
