Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NAT8L mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated NAT8L data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher NAT8L mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NAT8L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM and CCRCC are the cancer types where NAT8L mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
