Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, NAPA-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated NAPA-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher NAPA-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated NAPA-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and HNSC show a favorable association.

KICH, COAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where NAPA-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
