Across TCGA patient cohorts, NANOG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,311 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible NANOG-associated genes across cancer lineages are GLS2, KISS1R, and LONRF2. Each is linked with NANOG in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both NANOG-to-partner and partner-to-NANOG results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, NANOG versus GLS2 in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.54.
