Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MZT2B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MZT2B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MZT2B mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MZT2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where MZT2B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
