Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYO7B RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MYO7B data layer compared with 12 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher MYO7B RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYO7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and SCLC show a favorable association.

UVM, MESO, and SCLC are the cancer types where MYO7B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
