Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYO7B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MYO7B data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher MYO7B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYO7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LIHC and UCEC show a favorable association.

CESC, KIRP, and UCS are the cancer types where MYO7B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
