Across TCGA patient cohorts, MYH9 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,043 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MYH9-associated genes across cancer lineages are MYL9, SERPINE1, and COL1A1. Each is linked with MYH9 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MYH9-to-partner and partner-to-MYH9 results are reported.
