Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MYG1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MYG1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MYG1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MYG1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and ESCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and UVM are the cancer types where MYG1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
