Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MXRA5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MXRA5 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MXRA5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MXRA5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.

LUSC, HNSC, and KIRC are the cancer types where MXRA5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
