Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MXD4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MXD4 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher MXD4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MXD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SARC, BRCA, and COAD are the cancer types where MXD4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
