Across TCGA cell cohorts, MVK RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,458 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MVK-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Farnesyl diphosphate biosynthetic process, mevalonate pathway, Isoprenoid biosynthetic process via mevalonate, and Isopentenyl diphosphate biosynthetic process, mevalonate pathway. Each is linked with MVK in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MVK-to-partner and partner-to-MVK results are reported.
