Across TCGA patient cohorts, MVD protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 10,399 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MVD-associated genes across cancer lineages are SQLE, HMGCS1, and EMC8. Each is linked with MVD in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MVD-to-partner and partner-to-MVD results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MVD versus SQLE in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of 0.34.
