Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MUPP RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MUPP data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in acute myeloid leukemia (LAML), where higher MUPP RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MUPP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and GBM show a favorable association.

LAML, COAD, and GBM are the cancer types where MUPP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
