Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, MUC5B mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,148 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MUC5B-associated genes across cancer lineages are DTL, NCAPG, and HJURP. Each is linked with MUC5B in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MUC5B-to-partner and partner-to-MUC5B results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, DTL grouped by MUC5B-low versus MUC5B-high in COAD.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MUC5B→partner) and Y-score (partner→MUC5B) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
