Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, MUC5B mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 123 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MUC5B-associated genes across cancer lineages are mTOR_pS2448, 4E-BP1, and eEF2. Each is linked with MUC5B in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MUC5B-to-partner and partner-to-MUC5B results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, mTOR_pS2448 grouped by MUC5B-low versus MUC5B-high in LUAD.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MUC5B→partner) and Y-score (partner→MUC5B) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
