Across TCGA cell cohorts, MUC5B RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,298 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MUC5B-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of single-species biofilm formation, Negative regulation of single-species biofilm formation, and Regulation of single-species biofilm formation in or on host organism. Each is linked with MUC5B in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MUC5B-to-partner and partner-to-MUC5B results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Regulation of single-species biofilm formation grouped by MUC5B-low versus MUC5B-high in LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD.
