Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA cell cohorts, MUC5B mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,146 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MUC5B-associated genes across cancer lineages are AAAS, TCF20, and EPSTI1. Each is linked with MUC5B in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MUC5B-to-partner and partner-to-MUC5B results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, AAAS grouped by MUC5B-low versus MUC5B-high in CNS.
mutation associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MUC5B→partner) and Y-score (partner→MUC5B) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
