MUC3A

RNA expression — cross-omics
Cross-omicsRNA → FUNCTION-RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MUC3A RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,156 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MUC3A-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of Ras protein signal transduction, Tight junction organization, and Establishment of endothelial intestinal barrier. Each is linked with MUC3A in more than 21 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MUC3A-to-partner and partner-to-MUC3A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Regulation of Ras protein signal transduction grouped by MUC3A-low versus MUC3A-high in ESCA.

RNA expression associated GO terms by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MUC3A→partner) and Y-score (partner→MUC3A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
